A 76-year-old woman in the US state of Florida has been charged with careless driving after her Toyota Camry crashed through a supermarket on Saturday, injuring ten people. 33-year-old Lasaunda Hampton was recovering at home with her 3-month-old baby Tyshawn Davis, who was in the stroller visible in the video and escaped with minor injuries.Her 15-year-old daughter, Marshanna Jones, required 32 stitches to cuts from glass. The death toll climbed as workers continued to pull bodies out of a burned casino in northern Mexico, where gunmen spread gasoline and ignited a fire that trapped and killed at least 52 gamblers and employees. Security camera footage shown at a news conference in Monterrey showed assailants getting out of vehicles and entering the Casino Royale. Moments later, they leave the premises as smoke and fire begins to come out of the building. It was the second time in three months that the Casino Royale had been targeted. A subway train has crashed into a block of flats in the Chilean capital Santiago. No one was killed or injured. The spectacular moment of collision was caught by CCTV cameras. While being tested after repair on Wednesday morning in Lo Ovalle, an area in Santiago, the train derailed at high speed and slammed into a private condominium nearby, along with four parked vehicles. The driver received minor bruises and was said to be in a state of shock. The subway system authorities expressed their regrets over the incident. Dramatic video emerged on Friday of a British shopkeeper fending off an attack by a knife-wielding robber who held the blade to his assistant’s throat. CCTV cameras in the Turkish city of Van have captured dramatic video footage of the moment Wednesday’s 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck. Security footage from violently shaking cameras showed people running out of buildings, lights going out and thick clouds of smoke enveloping streets in the provincial capital. The quake – which struck in the same Turkish province that was hit by a deadly temblor last month – has killed at least 10 people, including a Japanese aid worker. Three people suffered minor injuries when an 86-year-old driver ploughed through a bike store window in Mission Viejo, California, on Tuesday. Store surveillance video posted on YouTube shows a man and a woman on crutches frantically jumping back against a counter a second or two before the car zooms past them, scattering merchandise and narrowly missing them. John Bain, manager of the Rock N’ Road Cyclery and a veteran cyclist, said he’d had some scrapes and narrow escapes on his travels, but nothing matched nearly being run down by a speeding Cadillac in his shop. The woman driver, who wasn’t immediately identified, told authorities she was parking in a handicapped space in front of the store when she accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake. CCTV footage shows the moment a bus and two passenger trains collided during morning rush hour in Argentina. 11 people died and 212 were injured, some of them children.
