Do anyone here know how can I first set up a network surveliance? primary what I want is to have a surveliance network for a shoplot which can be monitored remotely while away (eg CCTV equipments). Do I need a server or NAS? Is there such thing as free hosting on somekind private network?
There are like 4 spots in my school’s parking lot that i for sure know a camera is watching them, and i know that because i’ve seen the tv in the office that displays the cameras. I was wondering if it’s smart to park there, or is it not smart? Like then they know exactly what time you came and left, but then it might be handy if someone does a Hit and Run with my car.
Thank you my family has been a victim of a robbery when we were not home during the day . We are allready getting a dog and now we need the security. Hi folks, I’m really hoping someone can help me find a couple of films.
First one if a horror/thriller, possibly from the late eighties. The premise was a man who lived in an apartment block and he wired his home computer up to everything in the house. It was controlling lights, security, intercom etc. It turned out that the computer had started murdering people in the apartment block, I think it used household appliances and electrocution. I remember one scene with body parts in the washing machine. I *think* it was an American production.
The second one, I can remember significantly less about. I think it may have been a British TV production from the early to mid eighties. It was about a man who turned his home into a fortress with huge walls, shutters and CCTV systems. He became a recluse. I’m sure it was a thriller with some tragic killing as a result of his paranoia. I was very young when I saw it and cannot remember much more about it.
Thank you for reading my question and I hope someone out there can help me!
Thank you very much. The first one is not Pulse though. The evil definitely resided in a computer system, I think it started out trying to protect him and got a taste for blood.
The second one, I remember very little about it other than the whole thing being quite dull and dreary. I did enjoy it though.
